The empowerment of women affected by domestic violence is the top priority of Fresh Start for Women (FSFW) this since 2004. Every 9 seconds in the United States a woman or child is a victim of domestic violence, abuse or sexual assault. With these statistics it’s almost guaranteed that you, a loved one or someone else close to you has the potential to be affected by these issues.

For more than a decade Fresh Start for Women has been dedicated to ensuring women live successfully in communities free from domestic violence, abuse and sexual assault. We offer workshops, seminars, career assessment training, and counseling. In addition, we provide the opportunity for teen girls to explore their own identity as young women, students, daughters and future leaders in the 'You Are a Precious Jewel’ program.

Over 10 years has 371 women and 86 teen girls overcome struggles, find their voice and realize self-sufficiency.

In order to continue to serve women and teens, at no cost to them FSFW relies heavily on the generosity of many to support our efforts.
