Interfaith Service to Latin America

Description

ISLA carries out its mission by sending short term (12 days) teams to work with the community on various projects, providing opportunities for cultural exchange. Volunteers work in partnership with local citizens and organizations to undertake projects that benefit the community. We value each human being we meet and serve all persons regardless of race, creed, and social or economic status placing particular emphasis on serving the poorest and neediest. We strive to provide an enriching experience as we work, play and grow together.

All of the teams will be working in Jalapa, Nicaragua which is located in north central Nicaragua.
