Mission Statement
CHIME's (Communities Honoring Inclusive Model Education) mission is to manage, operate, guide, direct, and promote model educational programs in family, school, and community centered environments that support all children including those who are typically developing, gifted, or have special needs to achieve their maximum intellectual, social, emotional, and physical potential as well as to provide dynamic research and training environments for the development, implementation, and dissemination of best practices for educating a diverse learning community from birth to age 18.
Description
CHIME operates an infant, toddler, preschool and K-8 public charter school dedicated to inclusive model education for all children of all needs, from moderate to severe special needs ot talented and gifted children. CHIME is also committed to teaching other schools and orgainizations the benefits of and models for successful inclusive education.
CHIME K-5 was 2004 California Charter school of the Year and 2013 CHIME K-8 was the California Department of Education G.O.A.L award winner (Grazer Outstanding Achievement in Learning).
