Description
Burns Recovered (BRSG) began in 1983 with a group of burn survivors and the assistance of members of the burn care team at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center. BRSG includes a dynamic team of individuals from the public, corporate, medical and fire service communities who are committed to providing support and hope in the journey of recovery from the trauma of burns. We help those injured by burns to make the transition from burn victims to burn survivors.

Emily, Julie, and Mark are great people. Burns Recovered Support Group is an excellent non-profit to work with. I'm really looking forward to continuing my volunteer work with them.

The Executive Director is friendly, nice, and hospitable! Her mission is noble, altruistic, and solid. She is changing lives of children and adults for the better. She is caring for those who are often marginalized and discriminated against. The work environment is excellent as well. I hope I can volunteer here again.
