Mission Statement

"Supporting Youth Now for a Healthier Tomorrow" Next Generation Young Professionals (NGYP) is a group of young professionals dedicated to supporting Young & Healthy, a nonprofit organization, through social, networking, volunteering and fundraising opportunities. Young & Healthy is a non-profit organization that provides free medical, dental, and mental health services to low-income, uninsured children in the greater Pasadena area. Health services are provided by professional volunteers. Young & Healthy's mission is based on the conviction that it is the right of every child to have access to quality health care regardless of income levels and that early health care is an investment in the future of the community.

Description

We are a new membership organization of young professional men and women that provides our members with social, networking, and professional development opportunities in Pasadena and greater San Gabriel Valley. We are looking for member in their 20s and 30s who are energetic, resourceful, and technologically savvy. Please join us if you are interested in making new friends while supporting a worthwhile organization that helps kids get the medical attention they need. Join us and meet like-minded individuals who care about: * Social and professional networking. Meet new people who live or work locally through organized activities such as happy hours mixers, hikes, special events, and professional development opportunities. * Opportunities to learn about nonprofits and board governance. * Members-only volunteer opportunities and social events.
