Mission Statement

Community Action for Independent Living, Inc. (CAIL) is dedicated to providing uality services to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the state of New jersey. Our programs are designed to develop the person's fullest socail capabilities and personal self-realization through the provision of professional services and resources. Advocacy services are also provided by addressing community prejudices - socials and economic - which have historically hampered the advancement and full acceptance of individuals with developmental disabilities into society.

Description

CAIL is a private, non-profit agency organized for the purpose of providing services to persons with developmental disabilties in unserved and/or disadvantaged areas.CAIL currently serves individuals by offering small residential programs in New Providence, South Orange, Maplewood, Hackensack and Totowa, NJ. We remain available to individuals in the community and we are committed to providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities, metal health problems, dual diagnoses and adolescents and families in crisis.
