Home Aides of Rockland, Inc. is a licensed and accredited not for profit home care agency providing personal care and home health care to those coping with the frailty that comes with advanced age and disability that accompanies chronic illness. Established in 1969, the agency recruits and trains its own workforce using a NYS Dept. of Health approved curriculum. Our agency is in the unique position of being the only not for profit home care organization in a county with a large and growoing elderly population, that provides care on a sliding scale basis according to the income level of the client. The availability of this service has enabled hundreds of Rockland County residents to remain in the safety and comfort of their own homes, avoiding institutional placement when it is medically unnecessary.
