Mission Statement

The race series is purely a non-for-profit venture conceived as a fun, after-work, team-building event for Westchester corporations and a chance to network with people from other Westchester businesses. These races also offer participating companies a way to promote wellness and to raise money for a worthy local cause.

Description

The series is underwritten by race entry fees and the sponsorship of companies with a strong presence in the Westchester County business community.

ALL NET PROCEEDS go to the Westchester Continuum of Care, which provides shelter for Westchester’s homeless. Our organization, Corporate Cup Races, Inc. is an affiliate member of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). Through the RRCA, we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

The weeknight races, held on Wednesday evenings, feature individual men’s, women’s and co-ed corporate team competitions. Runners can compete as individuals or as part of a team, but not both. Teams will be comprised of either three men, three women or a combination of two men and two women.

The race events begin at 6:30 p.m. at the starting line located by the entrance of the university’s gym. There will be two water stations along the race route plus food and refreshments at the finish line. Free parking is designated for these races at parking lots 4 & 5. On-site registration on race day begins at 5:30 PM.
