Mission Statement
NMSEA is working to further solar and related arts, sciences and technologies with concern for the ecological, social and economic fabric of the region. NMSEA serves to educate individuals, public institutions and governmental bodies and seeks to raise the level of public awareness of the organization's purpose.
Description
Our Programs:
The Sunchaser Educaation Program - A mobile solar educational classroom offering a full solar curriculum that visits schools and events.
Solar Fiesta! - An annual two day energy fair usually in September in Albuquerque featuring classes, workshops, booths, and childrens actitivities.
NMSEA Chapters througout the state provide many opportunities to learn and teach.
The Sunpaper newsletter published six times per year.
Outreach activities in Local Communities including The Taos Solar Music Festival, Synergy Fest, Earth Day and many more.
Solar Home Tours in conjunction with the American Solar Energy Society's annual National Tour of Solar Homes.
