Maddie’s Fund believes that companion animals have intrinsic value and deserve to be respected and cherished as family members; they are an integral part of our community and our world, and by their very nature, enhance our lives, our families and our society.

Maddie’s Fund has our very own foster-based adoption program in Pleasanton, CA. Our focus is on finding loving homes for pets who are perceived to be more challenging to place, and developing solutions to problems which help homeless pets all over the United States.

All of our pets live in foster homes until they are adopted. We believe strongly that pets should live and interact regularly with people in a comfortable home while they await adoption. This increases our foster pets’ happiness and allows us to get to know their personalities so that we can match adopters to a pet that suits them.
