Celtic Hospice & Palliative Care Services is dedicated to providing relief and comfort to individuals through symptom management and pain control. Celtic Hospice offers an interdisciplinary team approach to care for those individuals with progressive, chronic or debilitating illnesses, and those facing end of life. The program is designed for patients who require comfort measures to enhance their quality of life. Hospice care is directed at treating the person rather than the disease and emphasizes quality of life.
Most individuals who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness desire to remain in the comfort of their own homes. With the assistance of specially trained Celtic Hospice & Palliative Care providers to help the patient's primary caregivers, many patients can fulfill this desire. The philosophy of hospice care recognizes the value of attending to the emotional, social, spiritual and physical needs of an individual. In consideration of the desires of our patients and their loved ones, a compassionate end-of-life care plan is developed to improve quality of life through pain and symptom management, an essential and often necessary part of the full continuum of home healthcare.
