Oak Park Regional Housing Center

Description

We strive to integrate and sustain diversity in Oak Park and the surrounding region through various programs related to fair housing, first-time homebuyer programs, and other programs that provide assistance to property owners and renters throughout the area. In addition, we work extensively with local school districts, regional community leaders, and other governmental agencies to foster community development and enrichment. As a part of the West Cook Housing Collaborative, we are working with funders to revitalize areas of western Cook County. Other programs we have devloped assist the Austin community in revitalizing rental property through the Austin Ascending program. By providing opportunities for fair and accessible housing, communities grow in diversity and in size. These efforts only help to further promote the social fabric of our rich and diverse area we live in and call home.
