Mission Statement

The Local Community Housing Corporation, ("LCHC") is a nonprofit community housing corporation whose long term goals are to provide, develop and manage affordable housing on behalf of the Housing Authority of Tarpon Springs. We provide a forum where public and private organizations can meet and join in cooperative ventures for the improvement of community life within the City of Tarpon Springs and the surrounding cities and towns.

Description

The overall concept of the Home Share Program is to locate and match a Home Provider with a Home Seeker to help individuals remain in their home providing an option for individuals who are seeking an affordable place to live. With the rise of taxes and insurance many homeowners face foreclosure and would welcome sharing their space in exchange for payment of their rent or for services.
