Thompson Education Foundation

Description

The Thompson Education Foundation is a 501(c) (3) organization that provides financial support for educational opportunities within the Thompson School District. The Foundation manages multiple funds that are used to enhance current or implement new projects and initiatives for teaching and teacher development.

Our Creativity Grant program provides funds to teachers to implement creative and unique ideas in their classrooms that they would not normally receive funding for from the district. These grants are 100% funded by community members and businesses.

The Elementary Music program provides funding for musical instruments for classroom use within all elementary schools within the district. This fund has provided recorders to the elementary students in the past and has now expanded to include further purchase of advanced instruments through a grant request process.
