Description
Western Egyptian Economi Oppurnity Council is a not for profit service organization which was chartered in 1965, with an eighteen member board of directors, serving Monroe, Perry, and Randolph Counties. The board consists of public officials, low-income representatives, and members of major organizations and groups of the community. Western Egyptian provides a range of services and activities which utilize all availble resources to deal with problems of the low income and disadvantaged residents. The agency's centeral off is located at 1 Industrial Park in Steeleville.
