Mission Statement

The CITIES Program strives to provide tutoring and recreational activities for "at-risk" youth. We believe that all children should have a safe environment in which they are encouraged to learn and given the tools to face future challenges.

Description

CITIES is an after-school tutoring program sponsored by Our Saviour Center, a social service agency in El Monte. We operate out of five church sites, all located in inner-city areas. Though run out of churches, the program is open to any and all children in the community. The program is open Monday through Friday from 3-6pm. Children complete homework, receive additional tutoring, play computer games, participate in recreational activities, and go on field trips.
