Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center's (FETC) mission is to offer equine-assisted therapeutic and educational activities (EAAT) to help improve physical, behavioral, cognitive and emotional functioning in individuals with disabilities in a family-friendly recreational and educational environment. FETC offers its program to people with disabilities regardless of race, creed or financial need.
We are a member of PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) Intl.
We provide riding lessons and other assisted activities for the physically and mentally challenged.
We are very volunteer intensive. We are always looking for volunteers in the following areas: horse leaders, side walkers, stall/barn cleaning, event volunteers for summer camp and future events, grounds/maintenance, groups looking to do a project.
We are currently in need of side walkers and horse leaders on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3PM-7PM with each lesson lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.
