Strike For Survival

Description

Strike for Survival, headquartered in Raleigh, has been in existence for for 4 years with nearly 100% growth each year. Our goal is to grow from 2 locations in 2007 to 9 locations in 2008. Locations in 2008 are Cary, Durham, Winston Salem, Greensboro, Greenville, Wilson, Goldsboro and two in Raleigh. Strike for Survival was conceived by Raleigh business owners who wanted to create an opportunity to give back to the community in a fun way, where the entire family can participate and the small business will be considered a major contributor. Strike For Survival is a 501c NonProfit Organization.

Strike for Survival has 4 mission points:

• Raise money for the American Cancer Society

• Allow the small business owner to be visibly involved in their community

• Raise the next generation of volunteers

• Educate and awareness on how to survive cancer.

The money raised for Strike for Survival is earmarked for survival programs and early detection of cancer.
