Mission Statement

An acronym for International Documentation/North America, Inc, IDOC/NA addresses issues of public policy and the promotion of the values of free, democratic societies. IDOC/NA deals with contemporary and recent historical issues that relate, on a perspective from the individual to the global, to the concerns of opinion-makers and public policy-making groups in the United States, and where possible, abroad. In furthering its core focus and values, IDOC shall foster means, in this new information age, for young people to gain access to and instruction from the latest in information technologies.

Description

IDOC/NA assisted in the production of MERTON: A Film Biography of the Trappist Monk, Thomas Merton, for national broadcast on PBS stations and ABC network. IDOC co-produced A QUIET REVOLUTION, a one-hour film that explores the impact of Latin American grassroots communities that was awarded the Blue Ribbon of the American Film and Video Association. Currently, IDOC/
NA is promoting as sponsor a Holocaust/Genecide education program titled THE YELLOW STAR PROJECT, the International Consortium for research and development of Low Cost Finance and Housing, and playwright Karen Sunde's ABRAHAM FILM PROJECT, the filming of HOW HIS BRIDE CAME TO ABRAHAM, a contemporary parable for peace and cross-cultural understanding.
