Our mission is to preserve, enhance, promote, and interpret the Royer family Pennsylvania German Farmstead, the Nicodemus and Bell collections, and the surrounding Park.
Our vision is to be a welcoming and memorable destination where everyone can walk back in time.
Our values are:
Integrity-With honesty and truth, we will adhere to the highest moral and ethical standards in all of our endeavors.
Authenticity-We will interpret with historical accuracy all of our exhibits, collections, programs, and events.
Excellence-We will be exceptional in everything we do.
We are a locally owned Museum and Park that features an 1812 Pennsylvania German farmstead and its surrounding 107 acres. We are open April-October and host a variety of events and concerts through the summer season, as well as having the museum house open for tours. We also have a special Christmas program. Our park is included in the 107 acres, and we have 23 walking trails throughout the park. Our venue also includes a pavilion and picnic area, and part of the park can also be rented out for weddings and parties. The park itself is open from dawn to dusk, and the visitor's center is open from 9am-4pm on the weekdays and 1pm-4pm on the weekends.
