Description
ACCESS Housing is a housing agency in Commerce City, Colorado that provides support to families in Adams County to help them regain self-sufficiency and get back on their feet. We have two programs that we have in operation:
Family Shelter Program: Our Family Shelter Program is a transitional housing program for families who are on TANF assistance in Adams County. The program provides families with their own 2 bedroom apartment that is fully furnished. The family meets weekly with a Case Manager with the goal of getting each family into permanent housing. Families also have access to our food pantry, clothing, and receive deposit assistance once they have been approved for their new place.
Homeless Prevention Program: Our Homeless Prevention Program provides rental and utility assistance funds to families in Adams County with the goal of helping them maintain housing stability. In 2020, we helped over 130 families stay in their housing.
