Volunteers needed to assist with data entry and working with clients Position Title: Data Entry Volunteer for Holiday Assistance Applications Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Volunteer to assist with processing holiday assistance applications. This role involves working closely with clients, some of whom may not be tech-savvy, to ensure their applications are completed accurately and submitted on time. Your contribution will directly support families in need during the holiday season, helping them access essential resources and assistance. Key Responsibilities: - Assist clients in completing holiday assistance applications, offering guidance and support with the process. - Enter client data into the designated system with accuracy and attention to detail. - Provide clear and compassionate communication to clients, especially those unfamiliar with technology. - Ensure all application forms are complete, verified, and submitted by the deadline. - Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive client information. Qualifications: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Patience and empathy in assisting clients with varying levels of technological proficiency. - Basic knowledge of data entry software (training provided as needed). - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Thanksgiving and Christmas - Holiday Sponsors, Donors and donations needed

Over the past ten years, Caring for a Cause Supportive Services and the Community, has provided Holiday meals and gifts to families in need within the Central Indiana area for Thanksgiving and Christmas. In 2018, Caring for a Cause helped around 500 families through an Adopt-A-Family program and with the help of generous sponsors as well as those who provided extra toys, we were able to help over 400 children. The children who receive Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance all come from low-income families. Some are homeless and many are in foster care because they have been abused or neglected in the past. Nearly all live in single-parent families, raised by working single women. We are inviting you to join us this year in making the holidays special for families in need. You can choose the size of the family you wish to sponsor based on your budget. We hope you will consider supporting this important program this year so that the many families we serve can look forward to a joyful holiday season.
