Mission Statement

To battle hunger by giving families and individuals a hand-up in their struggle.

Description

Mom’s Pantry was founded to address a significant need in the community to overcome hunger. More than one in five Arizona households experience food hardship. Mom’s Pantry aims to alleviate hunger in Arizona by providing emergency supplemental food aid to in-need families.

Mom’s Pantry is a 7,000 square foot building equipped with 3,300 cubic feet of refrigeration and freezer space, complete with shelving and storage for thousands of pounds of food.

Vision: The number of Arizona families struggling to put food on their table continues to be unacceptably high. Mom’s Pantry is debt-free and was built on the bedrock of a single promise--that no man, woman, or child goes hungry. That’s the significance of the name, too--Mom’s Pantry is always stocked and always ready for out next visitor. But ending hunger in Arizona is not easy.
