Mission Statement

The Ministry Center at Green Springs is a Christian Nonprofit Ministry , reaching out to those in need with food and clothing for their bodies and other resources to ease the effects of poverty of mind, body, and spirit, by helping persons to attain a better quality of life.

Description

We are seeking to carry out our mission by offering real services such as client choice food pantry, referral to clothing, furniture and other social services. We also offer English as a second language class with child care and children's classes. In the summer we offer School Booster Camp for children who come from a family where English is not the primary language spoken at home. We lease our building to four ethnic churches that meet on the week end. In the future we hope to develop other programs for the communites we serve. We are also a Ministry site for Christian Churches through out the Birmingham area.
