Mission Statement

Suicide Prevention International (SPI) develops, implements, and funds suicide prevention projects in the United States and worldwide. SPI utilizes its international network of experts to decide what projects are most likely to prevent suicide, selects the investigators to work on them, and is an active partner in conducting the projects from beginning to end. SPI is also concerned with providing support to survivors so suicide - children, youth, nad adults who have lost a relative or friend to suicide.

Description

SPI has a wide variety of volunteer opportuniites for people with all kinds of skills and schedules. Our volunteers hlep with administrative tasks and organize awareness and fundraising events. Some assist in public relations and finance. They serve on our Development, Survivors', and Youth Suicide Prevention Committees.
