Description

The Center for Children and Families (CCF) was established in 2008 with the goal of promoting optimal family and child development through research, practice and outreach. CCF programs are focused around three key initiatives: parenting healthy children and families, strengthening interpersonal relationships, and enhancing thinking and learning. Housed in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas, CCF is home to Center-affiliated faculty researchers who examine a wide range of important and cutting-edge issues related to biological, psychological, social and cultural foundations of development as well as their implications for families. At the Center for Children and Families, and through our clinical and outreach efforts, we work to communicate the results of this research to the wider community in order to enhance families' lives and inform the work of service providers and policy makers.
