I am a Social Worker at The Summit School in Jamaica Estates, and recently took a course in Animal-Assisted Therapy for my licensing requirements. I have a small Shih Tzu, Nikki, that I think would be great as a therapy dog; she is sweet, gentle and lovable. I am off for the summer, but work until 3PM daily during the school year. I could be available after that time or on the weekends. Please let me know if there is any opportunity for me to get involved in your program.
