During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Since its inception in 1995, the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) has been committed to raising awareness, promoting education, and funding research in support of women, families, and communities touched by ovarian cancer. NOCC is well-established as an important national advocate for patients and families struggling with ovarian cancer. NOCC remains steadfast in its mission to save lives by fighting tirelessly to prevent and cure ovarian cancer, and to improve the quality of life for survivors.
NOCC Programs
A. Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer: Signature Events Raising Awareness of Ovarian Cancer, Honoring Survivors, and Paying Tribute to Those Lost.
B. Faces of Hope: Survivor Support Program for Women with Ovarian Cancer, Their Families, Friends and Loved Ones.
C. Take Early Action and Live: Education and Awareness Programs Emphasizing Symptom Recognition
There are 24 chapters across the nation. Central MD is an all volunteer chapter. In addition to local awareness events, ovarian cancer survivor gatherings, and other fundraisers, a large 5KRun/3KWalk is held in September at Westfield Annapolis Mall. While September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and our peak need for volunteers, we seek volunteers for our initiatives year-round.
