Our objective is to give students and parents support, provided resources, opportunities, programs and activities related to STEM careers that will motivate and encourage our students to pursue a STEM related degree program. We have been in existence since 2005 and comprised of parents, volunteers, informal educators, pre-service teachers, and community leaders who are passionate about preparing our students for 21 st century careers and opportunities in hopes that they will become part of the highly skilled workforce
Our expertise is creating, planning, and implementing new and innovative academic enrichment programs and activities which are well organized and safe for all of our students. For the past eight years we have serviced hundreds of middle and high school students by providing weekly tutoring in math and science, matching mentors for our students, offering afterschool, and Saturday, and Summer STEM programs and activities, and designing and facilitating college and career preparation and professional and personal development workshops. In addition, we provide opportunities for our students to compete in local and national math and engineering competitions and make visits to science museums and colleges and universities.
