Mission Statement

The Young Professional Board (Board) of the Guild for the Blind works to raise awareness of the Guild and participates in activities that will raise funds for the programs and general operations of the organizations. The Young Professional Board is currently looking for young professional board members between the ages of 22-35 that would like to meet new people, gain leadership experience, and make a difference in the lives of others.

Description

The Guild for the Blind has been building the confidence and competence of adults with vision loss for 60 years. We work individually with our members, providing the tools, training and support they need to reach their goals.

Everyone has a unique view of the world. At the Guild for the Blind, we see a world of opportunity. Every person with vision loss has unique talents and goals, and our mission is to help our members focus on their abilities to make the most of their dreams and lives. Together, we are changing the perception of what it means to live with vision loss.
