The mission of Sequoia Village is to enable its members to continue living in their homes and communities as they age by providing access to support services.

Description

Sequoia Village is neighbors helping neighbors. It is not a real estate development or another retirement community.

Sequoia Village is a non-profit, membership-based organization that will be available to older adults living in Belmont, San Carlos, and Redwood City, including Redwood Shores. It follows the lead of Beacon Hill Village which was founded by a group of neighbors in Boston in 2001. They joined forces to create a way to continue living vibrant and healthy lives in their homes and communities, even as they aged and needed more support services.
