Mission Statement

The mission of the American Muslims for Palestine is to educate the public about the just cause of Palestine and the rights of self-determination, liberty and justice. Through providing information, training and networking with like-minded individuals and organizations that support peace, AMP will raise awareness of the issues pertaining to Palestine and its rich cultural heritage.

Description

American Muslims for Palestine engages in community organizing in order to work for the noble cause of Palestine. We do things like the annual National Nakba Campaign that commemorates the Palestinian catastrophe in seven major cities nationwide. We also hold our annual conference in Chicago, which brings together more than 3,000 community members from all over the nation. Other projects we work on include our campus activism work that we are constantly engaged in to help nurture the growing campus work being done. AMP also has launched several bus ad campaigns throughout the country, particulary in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Washington D.C.

We are constantly looking for help with our projects and initiatives! Please help us raise awareness of the plight of the Palestinian people and demand justice!
