Mission Statement

The Mission of SAINT Volunteer Transportation is to help seniors and adults with disabilities maintain independence by providing connections to the community through personalized, door-to-door transportation.

Description

Established in 1983, SAINT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in which volunteers use their personal vehicles to transport individuals within the cities of Loveland and Fort Collins, for any purpose.

There is no cost to ride with SAINT.

SAINT operates through generous contributions from the Larimer County Office on Aging, the City of Fort Collins, the City of Loveland, the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, and other local foundations and through donations from businesses, individual community members and riders.

Over 150 SAINT volunteer drivers provide 28,000 rides each year for more than 600 individual riders in Fort Collins and Loveland.

The more people give of themselves to others enriches not only the others' lives but also the volunteers' lives. Helping Seniors used to be my profession, the rewards are so great one comes home with a renewed sense of gratitude toward those served. A crying need is being addressed by SAINTS. I would like to do the same here in Greeley, although I am in almost the same situation as people being helped, but, am still able to drive a car and get around. Thank you.
