Description
William F. Sherman, Jr. Interpretive Center is the starting off point for exploration of Lyman Woods. The William F. Sherman, Jr. Interpretive Center is a green building exemplifying environmentally friendly building practices and technology. Lyman Woods is 150 acres of oak woods, prairie, and marsh habitats that supports over 300 species of native plants.

Great volunteering opportunity. The organizers provide safety glasses and even working gloves to help you out. It's great even if you have no experience with habitat restoration. You'll probably get a great workout as well.
