Mission Statement

City at Peace Tucson uses the performing arts to empower diverse groups of Tucson teens to increase inter-cultural understanding and ongoing leadership across lines of diversity for harmonious, nonviolent, social change .

Description

Each City at Peace site has two goals each year: to write, produce and perform an original musical from the lives of teen participants and their ideas for positive community change; to design, execute and evaluate original community change projects to fulfill their vision of a better world. Currently in the planning phase, rehearsals start in August, 2008
