Mission Statement

Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) provides a cultural learning environment for Historic South Atlanta’s students that offers after-school and summer programs for academics and social growth. Center for Academic Excellence also provides parenting training and cultural social and community learning for students’ parent.

Description

This is a virtual position where volunteers work out of their home.

Center for Academic Excellence looking for volunteers with administrative skills of an administrative assistant.

Center for Academic Excellence provides a collaborative community environment that will improve academic scores, reduce school dropout, and youth violence; reduce the potential for student drug use, reduce the potential for teen pregnancy, foster healthy self-esteem and a love of self, family and community.

Center for Academic Excellence works in partnership with community, school, and family to design the program that meets their child’s specific needs. We provide homework assistance, academic tutoring, recreation, physical fitness, life skills, and extra curriculum enhanced programs (Step-up Program).
