Mission Statement
Kindred at Home Hospice assists persons with life-limiting illnesses to live each day with comfort and meaning and to retain their individuality and control over their lives. Hospice care allows patients to remain at home and in their own communities, surrounded by friends and family, while receiving the highest-quality, most compassionate care possible. The hospice philosophy focuses on maintaining the quality of the patient’s life. Kindred at Home Hospice utilizes a team made up of an interdisciplinary, specially trained professionals and volunteers, including physicians, nurses, social workers, hospice chaplains, and certified nurses' aides.
Description
There are few missions as profound as bringing comfort, support, and dignity to life’s last journey and volunteers are an integral part of the hospice philosophy. As a volunteer, you will redefine hope for terminally-ill patients and families in the Metro Denver area, by helping discover beauty, meaning, and peace when a life is ending.
