Mission Statement

The staff and animals of Dream Walkers Equine Therapy Center strive to give our community members the opportunity to grow, develop, and foster personal achievements while improving their overall well-being and enhance their quality of life as they deal with disabilities, special challenges and situations in their lives in a positive, professional and personal manner. This is accomplished through unique programs which provide enhanced physical fitness, freedom, education, exercise and therapeutic benefits through horseback riding, animal therapy and related recreational activities in a safe, fun, creative, inspiring and challenging setting, all the while focusing on the individual needs of each of our clients.

Description

Our Vision: is to make a difference by igniting a passion for horses in people of all ages, to demonstrate their love for these therapeutic, majestic, and gentle giants, and experience positive involvement in activities of horse care and active ranch life, regardless of their disability, experience, age, or background. Our goal is to promote physical, spiritual, and emotional healing to our clients by building relationships and trust with the horses while building confidence in themselves in a non-threatening environment. Clients and their families will have the opportunity to network with other families to form friendships and lifelong support.
Our clients enjoy the benefits of horseback riding and the challenges of success as they learn to work with their horse as a team. We take the suggestions from their physical, occupational and speech therapists and move it outside under the big blue Texas sky and have fun.
