This facility was built with support from the five cities and community contributions. The Friends of the SouthShore Senior/Community Center provide fund raising events to continue the programs and maintain the building at the Center. The Friends also rent the Center to benefit operating funds. The SouthShore Center's staffing budget if funded by Senior Community Services, a United Way Agency in partnership with the five cities.
