Mission Statement
Growing old is a privilege denied to many. To that end we serve our Age Advantaged Seniors--we serve with food, transportation, clothing, bedding, trips to the doctor, groceries, entertainment, moral support, and mostly concentrating on improving self-esteem and quality of life one Faithful step at a time.
Description
The Jaycee Arms Resident Council is a non profit organization; we feel that our seniors deserve all the comforts they can receive -- they have earned it. The Council is supportive of our seniors, we have meetings once a month - the second Monday of each month; we have officers, President, Vice President, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Sergeant-at-Arms, Welcoming Resident Chair, and a Chaplain. We work very hard at fund raisers, we send out letters of donations, of food, clothing, some we teach to read and write, sometimes we arrange trips to take them out to dinner, we ask donations for bedding, etc., The Jaycee Arms Resident Council is here to serve our aged community.
