Mission Statement

The mission of Hope on the Slopes, Ski & Ride for a Cure is to support The American Cancer Society's goal in finding a cure for cancer and providing patient support and education services. To that end, our goal is provide a venue for skiers and boarders, resorts, and ski areas, and our corporate sponsors, that combine participaton in the sport we enjoy so much while fulfilling or common interest of fighting cancer and desireing to make a meaningful contribution to the cause.

Description

Hope on the Slopes, Ski and Ride for a Cure (HOTS) is a fundraising event benefiting The American Cancer Society held at ski resorts and ski areas nationwide. HOTS combines the passion of finding a cure for cancer and the love for skiing and boarding. Proceeds raised support and fund prevention programs, activities supporting people with cancer, and efforts to find cures to end the disease. The Society spends the funds entrusted to them in the most efficient manner so they are able to make the greatest impact as they fight for every birthday in every community.
