Junkyard Dogs, Inc.

Description

The concept of Junkyard Dogs, Inc . started in 2003. The organization has expanded to include all dog sports and public education activities. The goals of Junkyard Dogs, Inc. are to:

• Reduce the number of unwanted dogs via public education with information and demonstrations

• Exhibit the talents and potential of rescue dogs with minimal time and training

• Help all dog owners better understand, interact, and develop a stronger bond with their four-footed family member.

All membership dues and donations go toward educating the public with basic dog information and positive training techniques, and assisting dog rescue organizations. A long-term goal of the organization is to build a low-cost dog/people training and activity center for the public.

Junkyard Dogs performs at festivals and fairs throughout SE Michigan and Ohio to raise awareness of the need for dog training and education.
