Shark Stewards is seeking enthusiastic ocean lovers to help us plan, organize and/or participate in ocean events in SoCal. We love to do beach clean-ups, book signings, and just hang out on the beach meeting people! We are ideally looking for volunteers who can join us at the events as well. We usually hold the beach clean-ups once a month on a Saturday. We are seeking someone organized to help us plan and execute our annual run for sharks fun run/walk and ocean health fair October 7 at Newport Dunes. Volunteers can help us find sponsors and participating organizations and target youth groups and help the day of the event. If you love sharks, and want to keep the ocean clean, we'd love to have your help!
