Mission Statement

To support the health and well-being of our community through the organization of innovative races and the philanthropic use of proceeds.

Description

Glow XC was established in 2013 and is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. As an affiliate member of the Road Runners Club of America, Glow XC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of multitalented, bright, and driven individuals. Born from a love for running, our organization strives to promote personal and communal health by providing an electric running atmosphere that supports worthy local causes.

Glow XC is a 7¬≠Kilometer, nighttime running race hosted at Elijah Bristow Park just outside of Eugene, OR on May 30th, 2015. The race features glowing trail¬≠markers which light the entire course that, along with each runner’s provided headlamp, create a safe and electrifying atmosphere. Through Glow XC’s partnership with the Oregon Office of Rural Health, funds raised are donated to the Apple a Day Campaign to help fund continuing education for rural Emergency Services (EMS) volunteers.
