Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland County is a Christian housing ministry seeking to provide new homes for hard-working, low income families. We hope to make Cleveland County a better place to live and work by eliminating substandard housing. Homes are built using volunteer labor and many donated materials and are sold below market value using no-interest mortgages. Homeowners are required to complete at least 200 hours of Sweat Equity per adult in the family before closing on their new home. We invite volunteers and donors from all faiths to join in our effort to erase homelessness and substandard housing from Cleveland County.
