Faith, Hope & Joy Foundation

Description

The Faith, Hope and Joy Foundation began its humanitarian efforts in 2013. Founded by a nurse and a nurse practioner. Our mission outreach have provided medical care to over 1,000 children and 200 adults, created a food program that supports 250 children a week for lunch at school, donated hundreds of pounds of used clothing, supported educational endeavors through local schools and supplied support to children in desperate circumstances.

Faith, Hope and Joy believes that care must be delivered to the most vulnerable populations first, making schools and children the core of the outreach program. By having ongoing community health workers communicating with volunteer medical staff the care does not end when a medical mission ends. Volunteers will periodically visit the communities to work with the field staff and ensure that the needs of the children, school, and community are being met.
