Programming Intern will assist in Mentor’s R Us Inc. project development (in desired areas), virtual lesson planning, and in-person classroom life skills lesson plans. Intern projects should strengthen Mentor’s R Us Inc. outreach and increase awareness of our organization's goals and services to as many people as possible. Intern will also get the opportunity to serve as a mentor for our mentee’s.

We are excited to offer volunteer positions for Artists to renovate our premises, making accommodations for adulting courses, providing affordable housing for individuals who have been displaced due to unaffordability. Artist Qualifications Current student pursuing a BA or any degree in fine arts or arts education Strong communication and leadership skills Portfolio required (still-life drawings/paintings, examples of elements of art, and art style passion) Knowledge of the history and elements of art Adobe background required. Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and Canva Strong artistic flair and creativity Experience working with paint, acrylic and watercolors Color matching skills Attention to detail Highly motivated and passionate about art Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Responsibilities Design and bring to life an indoor mural that represents our organization's spirit, adding color and character to our space Take charge of a fun paint party that revamps our building's look, uniting the community in a colorful makeover Lead small groups in creative projects such as creating t shirts or painting on canvases. Mentor's R Us Inc. (MRU) is a non-profit organization seeking to inspire youth and adults by modeling sustainable life skills. MRU is currently seeking an administrative intern and driver who will assist the founder complete routine administrative functions such as answering telephones, manage paper or electronic filing systems, or scheduling and confirming appointments. The intern will also be responsible for special projects as they arise within the organization. This position will also be responsible for driving individuals to and from various locations in the area. Internship will help students fulfill internship requirements by providing knowledge and developing skills. A time commitment of at least five (12) hours per week will be required. Primary responsibilities include: Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information. Order materials or supplies. Prepare documentation for meetings. Use computer for various applications. The qualified candidate must: Be responsible for traveling to select locations to engage potential volunteers in discussing MRU’s mission/vision and any open volunteer opportunities, developing new relationships, maintaining volunteer databases, and responding to volunteer inquiries with the purpose of gaining new volunteers for the organization. Responsibilities Connect with/meet new volunteers over phone and social media. Create recruitment strategies that fit MRU’s needs. Be the 1st step of the interview process for recruitment via phone, skype, or in Person Engage people and Speak in open forums. Reply to Emails, Voice Mails within 24 hours Manage Online databases Call various agencies and individuals on behalf of MRU. Supply and collect documents necessary to fill positions.
