Mission Statement
"Angels of Love" is a non profit organization dedicated to touching and changing as many lives as we can by making hand crafted stained glass angels for kids and adults battling cancer, military families who have lost a loved one in a battle or people who have experienced other tragedies.
Description
Our angels are hand made by volunteers who range from age 16 - 88 yrs old. Our Angels are never sold and are always freely given. It takes approximately 3 hours to make each Angel then they are encased in 24-carat gold.
Over the years, we have donated thousands of Angels to families who have experienced tragedies in their lives. This has included families of the military killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, the VA "Tech Tragedy, 9/11 terrorist attacks, Columbine and other school shootings, Oklahoma City bombing, and other world events. We have made an angel for the family of each fallen law enforcement officer and fire fighter in the State of California, along with many others in our nation. We have given angels to the families of every law officer in Orange County who was killed in the line of duty since 1912.
We have also donated many angels to the families of children at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and St. Joseph Hospital of Orange among others. We are also known for our Christmas tradition, where we go to many local hospitals to give out angels to the patients who are in the hospital and not able to go home for the holiday. Numerous volunteers who want to spread love at this special time of the year do most of these visits on Christmas Eve.
