Description
Giraffe Laugh provides care for over 100 children per day at two locations in Boise, Idaho. 66% of the children are no to low-income and would not have access to quality care without our assistance.
Families are strengthened through parent education and through nutrition by providing food pantries at both sites so that parents always have access to food for their homes.
Children are fed from birth on according the the Dept. of Educations Child and Adult Food Program guidelines. This removes the barrier of hunger and poor nutrition which can contribute to poor behavior, less ability to learn and normal physical growth patterns.
Children have access to programs such as gymnastics and swimming which they could not attend if not for funding we receive for this purpose.
Giraffe Laugh partners with United Way of Treasure Valley and the City of Boise to provide care to the areas homeless children.
