Mission Statement

Sassy Cat Promotions (SCP) is a
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
that develops, supports and
promotes the works of those
striving to make a positive impact
on the lives of others. SCP works
closely with individuals and small
nonprofit organizations to spread
the word about events and
services offered to the community
designed for the common good of
the community.
Sassy Cat Promotions believes
that nonprofit organization and
other "do-gooders" can only make
an impact on the community if the
community understands the
importance of its work.

HairWalk: The Movement (HWTM) is Sassy Cat Promotions’
sig- nature tri-event charity fundraiser focused on raising funds
and awareness for causes of action. The singular event comprises
of The HeadHunterz Competition for student stylists; the Pink Tie
Sponsor and VIP Reception for men affected by cancer to support,
raise funds and awareness; and the "mane" event Hair Walk: The
Movement runway show. These events serve as a platform for our
survivors -the heart and soul of the movement.

Recipient of our 3rd annual show will be Young Survival Coalition, YSC.

Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is
a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
committed to support and educate
about breast cancer in younger
women. YSC is the premier global
organization dedicated to the critical
issues unique to young women
who are diagnosed with breast
cancer. YSC offers resources,
connections and outre
ach so women feel supported,
empowered and hopeful.
YSC was founded in 1998 by
three young women who were
under the age of 35 when diagnosed.
They were discouraged by
the lack of resources available and
the underrepresentation of young
women in breast cancer research.
Today, YSC is the go-to
organization for young women
facing a breast cancer diagnosis.
